I couldn't care less about Stephen Gately but her article makes such sweeping generalisations, reinforcing stereotypes and focusing on a few high profile negative cases. What about the thousands of other civil partners that are happily living their lives quietly and with diginity? What about all the STRAIGHT people who are married - many in religious services, which makes the "sin" worse, if you believe that sort of thing - who cheat on their partners and indulge in sleazy activities, ending in divorce? She can't honestly believe what she writes, surely? It’s sickening.
