Hmmm @ "The irony of expressing shrill intolerance of someone for being intolerant is lost on these illiberal liberals."

The irony isn't lost; there is no irony to begin with. You cannot equate "intolerance of intolerance" with "intolerance". If you refuse to tolerate Moir's flagrant homophobia, that doesn't mean you are automatically as intolerant as she is. People would not apply that argument to the BNP, the Nazis, the KKK, or other kinds of behaviour commonly deemed to be "intolerant". If you object to someone calling black people "n*****s", are you intolerant? Of course not! If you objected to apartheid, were you intolerant? Of course not! In comparing the two (very different) things, I think you have to ask where does each lead. One leads to darkness; one leads to light. Where do we go if journalists routinely write things like Moir? As you rightly say, we end up rolling back gay equality to the 1950s. Where do we go if people object to such things with "shrill intolerance"? Hopefully, onward to a more tolerant, civilized future.

Congratulations on your new improved website and good luck with it!... Chris.
